Day 13 | 100 Days of Self Care

Sky. Patiently waiting for the snow.

We are rounding the bend, folks. Today was a little brighter. Less stress and a little more work accomplished. My guy has been out of town for storm work and for the most part it’s fine. I pick up the slack, care for the kids, haul the wood, and do what needs to be done. The last few days were a little hard with bickering kids, a lot on my plate and no time to get it done.

But like I said, we are rounding the bend. My man comes home today (most likely by the time this post goes to press).

Today’s Self Care Stats:

  • Took a nice long walk with the kids and Sky as the early snow fell.
  • Knee: stretches, exercises, heat and massage
  • Read a book
  • Early to bed

How I felt

I feel like I’m finally gaining some normalcy. It’s amazing what kind of impact a new day, new information, and a few checks on my to-do list can do.

Take away point

Just wait it out. It’ll get better. (Also, sleep. Sleep is helpful.)
