Day 26 | 100 Days of Self Care

So, Day 25 slipped by yesterday without a party. Very different than the painting project. I thoroughly enjoyed those little milestones.

I think that’s the point though. EVERY day with self care is a milestone. It’s subtle, constant. Some days require more effort than others, but this isn’t a grand thing. It’s quiet.

Today’s Self Care Stats:

  • Resisted the temptation to skate (those who know me KNOW how hard this is) – in effort to continue to rehab and get back to my love: soccer
  • Some ball rolling to loosen back muscles
  • Instead I did my knee stretches and exercises and promptly went for a hike with the kids
  • Played in the woods too
  • Ate a healthy (and yummy!) dinner my husband made

How I felt

Fresh air is gooooood.

Take away point

Celebrate the small victories, but also realize that change doesn’t have to be big and showy.
