We are hitting our stride, folks. Day 30 is tomorrow and I must say these last 10 days or so have moved along much quicker than the first 20. Maybe my expectations have changed. Maybe I’m slowly working this and getting things in place as a foundation.
Whatever it is, I feel like I’m making progress. The kind of progress you wouldn’t know if you weren’t paying attention.
Today’s Self Care Stats:
- Day 3 of a healthy protein shake for breakfast (this came after my “cupcake, blue rootbeer w/ cookie, and carrot breakfast” made by my kids this morning)
- Mile walk in the slush with NO other distractions, like podcasts or music. My soundtrack was “birds”
- Knee: exercises/stretches
- Slowly ticking off my to-do list – progress!
How I felt
I’m feeling stronger. My knee isn’t 100%, but it’s getting there. I’m finding relief. Next step will be to strengthen the muscles around the joint to support, so that’s very much on my radar.
Take away point
Slow progress is still progress.
