Day 45 | 100 Days of Self Care

SO close to normal sick-wise. Health is around the bend! (Good. I’m sick of talking about it.)

Spent (not nearly enough) time at our land today. Oh, the happiness this brings my little family is so obvious. They instantly took to the trees and play began. We will be spending a lot of time there in the coming months. My heart needs it.

FYI outdoors-y folks: Ticks are out!

Today’s Self Care Stats:

  • Healthy food run to the grocery store
  • Did a little research on gardening/homesteading/off-grid stuff  (although I’m a little freaked about having to keep another thing alive)
  • Had mini family (and Sky!) time on the land and found some green peeking through the dead leaves
  • Planning a more efficient schedule instead of being in crash-prevention mode
  • Early to bed

How I felt

It was SO good being off-grid for an hour. A majority of my time is in front of a screen, because that stuff (marketing, networking, business stuff, that is) comes so naturally to me. I tend to lean into that with ease. I am missing creating.

Take away point

It’s time to pull back out of my brain and get back into my body, my heart AND my art. Balance.
