Day 47 | 100 Days of Self Care

What a full, no technology day! (Aside from this post that is.)

We shut down and opened up. Computers and phones went off and we turned the sunshine on. Playtime for the pup is critical since we no longer have Kiko with us. There are still moments where Sky acts like he’s missing something. I feel it too. Two fold.

Today we planned our garden and moved some wood. Most of all we dreamed a little. Having everyone involved in the planning of “what’s next” is so awesome. Truly grateful for days like this.

Today’s Self Care Stats:

  • Listened to inspiring music
  • Knee stretches/exercises
  • Fresh air and sunshine
  • Grabbed myself a crisp sketchbook
  • Made clam chowdah from scratch with my girl
  • Had some cool convos with my little man
  • Movie with my sweetie
  • Gratitude awareness
  • Early to bed!

How I felt

Cloud 9. There really are no words for days like today. Nothing huge, amazing, or spectacular happened. To an outsider, it would seem like a normal day. Boring even. The amazing is hidden though. The amazing is not for spectators. It’s deep and can’t be judged.

Take away point

It’s the stuff *not* for show that’s important. Can’t be beat it.
