Day 48 | 100 Days of Self Care

Today’s Self Care Stats:


  • Mile walk with the pup
  • Knee stretches/exercises
  • Protein shake
  • 2 full sun salutations
  • Declined a job that didn’t feel right
  • Wrapped up some loose ends after being off last week
  • Gratitude awareness
  • Managed to remember to get a healthy crockpot dinner in on time
  • Early to bed

How I felt

It feels so good to get back on track. Turning down a job is not exactly my idea of a good thing, but in this case I think I saved myself a lot of stress. It wasn’t in line with my direction(s) and I truly feel the client would be better suited with someone else. This is hard for me though. I never say no.

Take away point

It’s amazing. Listen to your gut and act. A freeing feeling will follow.
