Day 51 | 100 Days of Self Care

Available in the shop. That shop needs a better image, by the way. 🙂

See that photo right there? It makes me happy. I love the colors. I love the shapes. I love the feeling I felt when I painted it. I need to do more of that.

Today’s Self Care Stats:

  • 1 mile walk with the pup
  • Knee exercises/stretches
  • Art/Business focus sessions
  • Healthy lunch
  • Time spent in my art journal
  • Time spent on the phone updating my life insurance to a lower premium (the phone I dislike, but with the savings and coverage, I chalk it up to double the self care!)
  • Good 1/4 of a mile jog/sprint while tracking down the husky mix (good news, knee was great!)
  • Early to bed

How I felt

Slow moving day. Very much a “one foot in front of the other” type of day.

Take away point

Put one foot in front of the other and do what you can… you’ll get there.

    1. LOL! Sorry about the extra mental chatter, but glad the one foot in front of the other is helpful. There’s a heavy dose of overwhelm going around. Just focus one the baby steps… slow and steady wins the race… 😉
