Day 53 | 100 Days of Self Care

IMG_9558Took a walk down memory lane today. A sweet little girl’s birthday party brought me back to my good friend’s old home. To see my kids play where I played and to tell them all the old stories was pretty cool.

Today’s Self Care Stats:

  • Reconnected and caught up with old friends
  • Enjoyed the company
  • I would like to add early bedtime here, but that didn’t exactly happen

How I felt

Happy. To see my kids roll down a hill – the very hill that we rolled down as kids – was pretty awesome. I am so in awe with how things like this and relationships such as these carry on. Time is no match them.

Take away point

True friendships don’t need to have a daily check-in. True friendships defy time. True friendships can last 30+ years and lead to your own kids playing together – doing exactly what you use to do.
