Day 76 | 100 Days of Self Care

We are certainly getting up there in the ranks! Day 76. Wow.

I was browsing through my available 100 day paintings and I am reminded about how big that particular project was.

I am also reminded of the gratitude I felt. And the gratitude I still feel.

Looking back I realize that by painting 100 days in a row was self care. Much like how we let go of our children’s hands and they stumble a little…so they eventually learn to walk.

My painting and self care projects are just that: Tough Love.

It’s a self inflicted way of holding myself accountable and encouraging growth. And I have gratitude for all of it.

I also have gratitude for YOU. Thank you for following me on my painting journey and this one. Thank you for your words of encouragement. Thank you for joining me by doing your own projects. Thank you for every like, share, and comment. It all means so much.

Today’s Self Care Stats:

  • Protein shake breakfast
  • Mini walk in cold rain
  • Gratitude awareness
  • Checked some work items off my to-do list
  • Made dinner simple with a crockpot feast!
  • Rest and before-bed wind down

How I felt

I’m feeling all warm and fuzzy today. So full of gratitude. I think with the bulk of this project behind me, it’s really bringing into focus everything it entails and everything it means.

Take away point

Teeny steps may seem insignificant, but looking back can bring an overwhelming sense of accomplishment. And gratitude.
