Day 92 | 100 Days of Self Care

IMG_9888The SPARK Series began today. One out of four weekly classes. I’m so amped up about the direction it’s going. LOVE the “specific to your business” chat too. I feel like general info is helpful, but applying it to certain kinds of businesses can be very different. The variety is awesome.

Today’s Self Care Stats:

  • Protein shake
  • 1 mile walk with the pup
  • Held a marketing class (woot!)
  • Quick ride and then visit to a park to let the kids run wild (it’s needed)
  • Lovin’ on some baby chicks
  • Mini reading session
  • Early, so early to bed

How I felt

By the end of the day, I’m beat. After writing the last blog post in the middle of the night, I didn’t really get back to sleep. I had lots of energy though. I was fully charged and ready to take on my first speaking/teaching gig ever. It was awesome. There’s a sense of accomplishment that comes from lots of prep and not faltering too much during the presentation. Afterward, I was SO tired. But it was a good tired.

Take away point

An energy drain can leave you feeling exhausted, but there’s a difference between something draining you and something you are giving your ALL toward.
